Spencer GillisManaging Director, Certified PWHL Agent
Spencer grew up around esteemed athletes and sports executives, giving him a unique understanding of how elite athletes succeed. An NYU graduate, Spencer has held roles across major sports and media organizations. He founded 3G Sports in 2019 to elevate women’s athlete representation, quickly making an impact alongside his first client, Saroya Tinker. Spencer is a leading voice in women’s hockey, guiding top talent and overseeing the daily operations of 3G Sports.
Sean White
Director, Certified World Rugby Agent
Sean is one of Canada Rugby’s most respected figures, bringing 15+ years of international experience as a player and coach. He earned 27 test caps, played 32 HSBC Sevens Series tournaments, and competed at the 2011 Rugby World Cup before leading Canada’s Senior Men’s Sevens team. Now in athlete representation, he applies a high-performance mindset, clear communication, and trust-driven guidance to support rugby talent on and off the field.
Jeremy Gritten
Lead Counsel, Certified PWHL Agent
Jeremy is the Director of Business Operations and Legal at 3G Sports and has been a key part of the agency since its inception. A licensed lawyer in British Columbia and Arizona, he brings legal expertise shaped by four years in litigation and experience representing clients across the NHL, CFL, and PGA. With roles in scouting and hockey operations in Arizona, Jeremy’s blend of legal and sports knowledge is a major asset to 3G and its athletes.
Sarah Thompson
Director, Partnerships + Community
Sarah is the Director of Partnerships and Community at 3G Sports, guiding athlete endorsements and community initiatives. A former D1 athlete with over 150 games at Syracuse and St. Lawrence. She earned the NCAA Hockey Humanitarian Award while completing degrees in Sport Management and Leadership. She also founded two hockey-focused programs supporting youth development and underserved communities. Sarah brings athlete experience and purpose-driven insight that elevates clients on and off the ice.
Mathieu SchneiderSenior Director, Agent
Mathieu played 1,289 NHL games from 1987–2010, winning a Stanley Cup in 1993, earning All-Star honours, and helping the U.S. capture the inaugural 1996 World Cup of Hockey. A two-time Olympian and U.S. Hockey Hall of Famer, he ranks among the top American defensemen in major career categories. Before joining 3G, he spent over a decade as the NHLPA’s second-in-command, leading major initiatives in negotiations, partnerships, and player support.
Mike Gillis
Senior Director, Operations
Mike is one of hockey's most trusted voices, having served as a player, agent, general manager, and president. After his NHL playing career, he earned his law degree and spent two decades as a leading NHL agent, representing stars like Pavel Bure and Markus Naslund while securing record-setting contracts. As GM and President of the Vancouver Canucks, he delivered two Presidents’ Trophies and major executive awards. His career is defined by player advocacy and progressive leadership.
Owen Norman-Laver
Director, Content + Marketing
Owen oversees athlete brands and marketing initiatives as Creative Director for 3G Sports. A graduate of one of Canada's top graphic design and marketing programs, he brings close to a decade of experience working with marketing teams across major sports and entertainment brands. From youth hockey camps to TikTok content, Owen is a one-stop creative studio whose work helps athletes stand out and connect with audiences beyond their sport.
