Peter A. Gall is a founding partner of Vancouver-based Gall Legge Grant Zack LLP. He is widely recognized for his expertise in general civil litigation, administrative law, constitutional law as well as labour and employment law, and has acted as counsel before various administrative tribunals and at all levels of the courts.
Mr. Gall was counsel to the Korbin Commission on the contractual relationships between the government and doctors in British Columbia. He has authored numerous articles on administrative, constitutional, and labour law, some which have been cited and quoted from by the Supreme Court of Canada. He has been an adjunct professor at Stanford, University of Victoria, and University of British Columbia Law Schools, and was Visiting Scholar at the Stanford Law School during the Fall term of 2004.
Formerly, Mr. Gall was a founding partner at Heenan Blaikie’s Vancouver office from 1991 to 2014. He also previously founded Jordan and Gall, which merged with Blakes and started the Blakes’ Vancouver office. Earlier in his career, from 1976 to 1980, he was an assistant professor at the University of British Columbia Law School.
Spencer Gillis is a graduate of New York University’s School of Professional Studies, with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management. His experience in the industry includes working in the hockey operations departments of the Vancouver Canucks and New Jersey Devils, serving Doctor Harvey Schiller as the Commercial Consultant for America’s Cup Racing, as well as consulting for Fox Sports, the YES Network, and Genéve-Servette Hockey Club.
Kevin Nanne is an associate at Gall Legge Grant Zwack LLP, where he practices in the firm’s litigation and labour and employment groups. He has also represented clients in a number of mediations, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings. He articled with the firm prior to his call to the B.C. Bar in December, 2017.
Kevin received his Juris Doctor from Bond University in 2016. Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University in Montreal. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Kevin was a member of the McGill Redmen Varsity Football program. Prior to attending law school, Kevin worked across Canada as a sales representative and account manager for a large industrial coatings company. He is also fluent in French.
